Our Strategy: Action and Accountability for Adolescent Girls

Our girl-centred ambition for 2025-2027

AGIP’s 2025–2027 Strategy was co-developed by AGIP Members, Girl Advisors from AGAC and approved by the Board in May 2025. It reflects the coalition’s sharpened priorities, deepened commitments, and collective direction for the next three years.

This strategy centers adolescent girls in all their diversity, placing their leadership, safety and inclusion at the heart of our work. It reinforces the need for political commitment, evidence-informed investment, and robust accountability to achieve meaningful and lasting change.

Why This Strategy Matters Now

33%

of the global female population are adolescent girls, yet they remain one of the most marginalized demographics.

Current Challenges

  • Shrinking civic space
  • Defunding of development programs
  • Rollback on rights
  • Lack of accountability mechanisms
