On the margins of UNGA75, The Adolescent Girls Investment Plan (AGIP), in collaboration with FEMNET, ARROW, Care International, Breakthrough and ABAAD Resource Centre for Gender Equality, alongside the Kenyan, Irish, Mexican, French, and Canadian governments and the Beijing + 25 Youth Taskforce hosted a discussion with seven girl advocates from Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Palestine, Nicaragua and Zambia.

Adolescents lead the dialogue on accountability for gender equality

On 1st July 2021, adolescent girl leaders utilized this event to raise their concerns and share their aspirations about the inclusion of girl leaders beyond the Paris Forum, especially when it comes to their inclusion in the implementation and accountability of girl-centric commitments over the next five years. This event was entirely designed by a group of adolescent girl leaders with support from AGIP.
